Yahoo Mail, often stylised as Yahoo! Mail, is a email service which was created by Yahoo! and is currently owned by a subsidiary of Verizon Communications called Oath, Inc. The service was launched in 1997 and is recognised as one of the world’s most popular webmail platforms, boasting more than 200 million active monthly users.

Today, Yahoo! Mail can be accessed via an internet browser, or a mobile application, which is available for Android and iOS devices. In addition, users can also access their email through third-party applications. How Do I Log In to My Yahoo Email Account?

After creating an email account, the Yahoo Mail login procedure is just as simple. Again, as with the sign up, this can be carried out from the homepage, where you need to click on the “Mail” tab in the top right corner.

This takes you to a large login form underneath the heading ‘Sign In’. In the first field, enter your Yahoo email address and then click on the ‘Next’ button.

In the next field, you need to enter your password and this must match exactly with the password field you completed on the sign up form. Remember, your password is case sensitive, so you must also take care with the placement of upper and lower case letters. To avoid problems, make sure both CAPS LOCK and NUM LOCK are off.

Once you have entered your password, click on the ‘Sign In’ button and you should have access to your account. If you have forgotten your password, or you have issues signing in, you can reset your password by clicking on the link labelled ‘I Forgot My Password’ and following the instructions that are provided on the screen.

If you have enabled “Auto Fill” for passwords in any of your internet browsers, then you may be able to recover your Yahoo Mail Password in the browser settings. For example, in Chrome menu button, select Settings.
In Settings, select Passwords. Here you can see all your saved passwords.
